Filled with hidden details of trees, birds and mountains, the image of a Bison bracing a gust of winter wind was created with heavy thought to perspective. Both the perspective of time and space play a part in this piece.

Time — when you consider the Bison’s history in North America and it’s role as a keystone species across the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains.

Space — the juxtaposition of tiny designs within a larger one to highlight both the importance of details and individual creatures while maintaining a view of the larger picture.

Unframed original, created with ink on fine art paper. For added texture, the left side of the paper has a torn effect.
